With the popularity, 2010 brought a lot of changes in the world of Wii video games consoles. Hopefully in 2011, Wii has scheduled many games to release in next few months. Here are some upcoming Wii Remote games for 2011, developed using Wii MotionPlus peripherals.
The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword
An upcoming action-adventure game in the series of Legend of Zelda, The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword is designed for Wii video game consoles. Scheduled for 2011, The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword is currently in the development by Nintendo Entertainment Analysis and Development. The game will make use of the Wii MotionPlus peripheral for sword-fighting. This new version of game introduces full motion control inable Wii MotionPlus peripheral that synchronizes player movements while offering intuitive play control. The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword is the story of Link who was born and raised in Skyloft, a place that floats above the clouds. Link is forced to go to the land beneath clouds for searching a lost friend and this place is controlled by evil force. One day he discovers the Skyward Sword which become the driving force with Link traveling between two lands.
Tiger Woods PGA Tour 11
Tiger Woods PGA Tour 11 is the latest golfing simulation video game for 2011, developed by EA Tiburon in cooperation with publisher Electronic Arts. It is the latest installment in the Tiger Woods PGA Tour series. This new version of the game for Wii platform utilizes Wii MotionPlus. For the first time in the game franchise's history, the game features the Ryder Cup tournament. The game features 24 player online multiplayer mode which allows the players to compete in the Ryder Cup online. This new version of the game introduces two new swing modes - Advance Plus, a mode in which the direction of the swing is tracked and another is Tour Pro, where camera changes to first person as well as the club is 1:1 controlled.
Conduit 2
Similar to the original Conduit game, Conduit 2 is an upcoming first-person shooter video game for Wii video game consoles by High Voltage Software. Conduit 2 is specially made with the players jumping into the character of all-time series hero Michael Ford. It is assumed that the game will take players to the far reaches of the world to stop an alien invasion which can be fought in online multi-player, single-player battles, and online and off-line co-op modes. Armed with powerful and advanced weapons, the players can expect massive action in large and multi-tiered levels featuring giant boss enemies, cinematic battles, dynamic environments, and deep customization features. Conduit 2 has great graphics and same characters from “Conduit” can be found in this game too.
The Grinder
The Grinder is an upcoming online co-op first-person shooter video game by High Voltage Software. Currently in the development for Wii, The Grinder is a supernatural shooter where your team fights vampires, werewolves and other monsters. The game is stated to support Wii MotionPlus and will also offer players complete customization of its controls. In this game, the players control one of four characters, with their own unique attributes. Players will also have to use different techniques to defeat the foes and they will also have access to many weapons, some of which can be dual wielded. The Grinder will make use of the Wii Speak peripheral. The game is inspired by Left 4 Dead.
ExerBeat
ExerBeat is an upcoming rhythm-based fun fitness game by Namco Bindai for people of all ages who wish to stay in good health. It is scheduled to be released in Spring. With 155 rhythm-based fitness mini-games ranging from dance and martial arts and even party games, ExcerBeat will be an interesting one to watch. The game is mainly designed to focus on a lot of fun activities rather than tough workouts. ExerBeat will be compatible with the Wii Balance Board and Wii MotionPlus. The game will also include an interesting “Around the World” mode which will convert your excecise into “distance walked” around the world, where you'll be able to unlock new exercises and locations the more you “travel”. So, adjust the intensity of your workout, track your calories burned, pursue your fitness goals and much more.
